Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day from me to you. I’m giving you, not only the beautiful roses Bob got me for Valentine’s Day but also a free book.

First though, let me tell you a little about Bob. He wooed me with roses, champagne, chocolates, and all the goodies you can woo a person with when you’re wooing someone. The most wooable thing he did was to be his sweet self. Bob takes romance to a professional level. When I ask him, “Who do you want to thank?” He says, “You.” Which is out of context for you but very important to me. He treats me like a queen. He’s my angel and I love him more than anything in the world.

On our first date he took me on a lunch trip. We traveled from our island to Port Townsend on Bob’s boat. The water was big and bumpy and I kept hitting my head on the wall of the boat each time the boat pitched and yawed. It was a crazy ride over. Anyway, we spent the day kicking around town, eating lunch, then going to a shop called April Fool where we laughed the many funny cards sold there. After, we made the return trip to our island, the same bumpy water carried us home. The next day, I sent Bob a bouquet of red roses as a “thank you” with a card (from the shop). The image on the card was of nuns driving bumper cars. The inside read: “Even good girls need a wild ride every now and then.” Roses are a big part of our romance.

So… HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! May love and laughter fill the next 24 hours and many more after that!

FREE TODAY! Young adult romantic fantasy

Now, for my gift to you. My young adult romantic fantasy called TROUBLED IN PARADISE is free today! Here’s a little about the story:

“Funny! Tender! A totally great story.” ~Libby C.
“I so got Susie Speider. I’m not exactly popular but feel like maybe I can be one day. I feel the spider within me! LOL.” ~Britney S.
“My mom got this book and made me read it. Mom can be so smart sometimes. I really liked the book.” Calista F.

After her father’s death last year and, now, dealing with a cruel teacher, Susie Speider is thinking ahead to college. But, when a small black spider bites 15-year-old Susie on the finger it sends her nights into a series of crazy dreams about taking revenge on her teacher, Ms. Morlson, who ultimately holds Susie’s college aspirations in the palm of her cold calloused hand.

But, when Susie figures out the dreams are real, she takes advantage of her newer, stronger self by visiting Morlson nightly as the spider! And, by the way, who is that cute boy spider munching on flies over there in the corner?

TROUBLED IN PARADISE is a love story of epic proportions and a tale of loss and forgiveness. Just try to get out of its web.
