These are the items still on my Thanksgiving Day grocery list for tomorrow's last day of holiday shopping…
Green beans
Cranberries and other berries for my cray-cray-cran sauce
Butter for loads and loads of, um, butter
Mushrooms, dried apples, and leek for stuffing (add butter)
Sour cream and chives for mashed potatoes (add butter)
Whipping cream for pumpkin pie (no butter)
A splash of wine and finally…
Irish cream for the chef :D
Then…Nom Nom Nom (That's the sound of Bob and me enjoying our meal)
What am I thankful for this year? So many things but mostly I will have my sweet husband with me again to help me make another wonderful holiday memory.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!! From our table to yours.
May God's blessings find you and fill you with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (we'll need that for the 2nd and 3rd helpings of all the good food).
God bless you all.
~Susan & Bob.

"I love what Susan Wingate writes. She can be so dark yet touching, and funny. She is such a special writer. Her latest story The Heartbreak of Time Travel is brilliant, rich—so powerful and interesting, smart and caring.” ~Marilyn R. Atlas, film manager/producer and co-author of "Dating Your Character"
